Who qualifies?
To best serve those clients who need us the most, we have three simple criteria that our clients must meet:
- Client must currently have delinquent debts (generally, most debts over 30-60 days delinquent)
- Debts must be unsecured (including credit cards, judgments, medical bills, utility bills, repossessions). We do not represent clients on government-related debts (including student loans, tax liens, back taxes, child support, etc.)
- Total debt balance must be $5,000 or more

If your clients are dealing with debt collectors. . .
You should always advise your clients not to speak with their creditors or bill collectors while you are working on a refinance. They should simply take down the collector’s name and number, and pass that information on to us.
If you or your client talks with bill collectors during the loan process, they may escalate their collection efforts or expedite immediate action against your client.
